Going Green with Noble Jewelers
Everyone buys gold and silver now. Selling your gold and silver to Noble Jewelers is actually recycling. One of the greatest benefits of recycling your gold and silver is getting paid for items you no longer use. The other, of course, is helping preserve our environment.
It takes approximately ten tons of gold ore to produce one 18kt 5 gram wedding band. This destructive process can cause long term damage to our environment. All the unwanted gold brought to Noble Jewelers is melted back down to it’s purest form and recycled back into the jewelry industry. So not only is recycling gold good for your pocket, it is also good for our planet. Become a part of our effort to support an eco-friendly alternative to mining gold. Just think, now you will have room in your jewelry box for new treasures!
1. How can I help a non-profit with my gold and silver?
Recycle old jewelry to benefit the environment. You can direct us to pay part or all of the market value of the gold and silver, subject to an administrative fee, to an environmental organization if you would like. Noble Jewelers suggests that you consider American Cancer Society or United Way for your contribution. We believe both support a noble cause.
2. May we designate a different organization to receive our contribution?
Yes, but the organization you designate must be an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization. They will be happy to confirm their status to you.
3. I am active in a nonprofit organization. Could we gather broken and unused jewelry as a fundraiser for that group?
Yes, we would be pleased to pay your organization for the gold and silver it gathers. That’s an easy way for your members to help your cause, while also helping the environment. You can even have our event coordinator create a special gold and silver buying fundraiser at your place of business or at one of your off-premise fundraising events.
